How we Began


The West Englewood United Organization was established in 1983 from a collaboration neighborhood block clubs. Our joint effort was initiated by our mutual concern and regard for the Englewood and West Englewood communities and to abate the fast growing deterioration of the communities.

We were involved in a united concern and energy to revive and replenish our community. Because this matter was heart bound, four block clubs combined to estabish the west Englewood United Organization.
